Client Preparation &
Progress
 It
is expected that all clients prepare their weekly lessons to
the best of their ability. Parents of younger children are expected
to help guide and support the home study to ensure consistent
progress and return of financial investment.
Whether
or not a client intends to become a performing pianist, my tutelage
will always be intended for this end -- teaching you to teach
yourself. Always strive to work frequently and smarter, not
longer and harder. First and foremost, listen, listen, listen,
to what is coming out of the piano with every touch, movement
and key you depress. Be very aware of all tension. Keep ears,
eyes, and muscles extremely relaxed, alert and aware.
